I have always been fascinated by the Grimm Brothers fairy tales. The darkness, the imagination and sheer quantity are mind boggling. The stories always have a very clear point to make, a lesson to teach, and do so in  very effective manner, though still through an unforeseen development  in the plot. This is my feeble attempt to  reinterpret the stories.
