I was living in Beer Sheva when Facebook was invented. I could suddenly reach out and reconnect to all kinds of people I met through out my travels.

A friend offered me a job in the Us. Upstate New York to be more precise. I took it. As if I had a choice. We'll pay for your flights, board and lodging and a nice salary. I spent six months in New York, Miami and Cuba. The differences were mind boggling. Truly amazing considering the relativly short distances between the three locations.

From the super capital of the capitalist world to Havana, one of the few socialist wonders still in existence. Miami, well i guess I saw it as the iligitimate offspring of both. The city sitting on the cultural seam between NY and Havana.
